Welcome to Gregory Portland Soccer registration and schedule site!
GPSA player and coach registration may be done through the Registration tab above. Once your member account has been created with any STYSA club you may access it by entering your username and password in the User Login at the left of this page.
There is an online convenience fee incurred when you register online. These fee consists of a $2 flat fee and an additional 2.7% credit card processing fee when pay by credit card. To avoid these fees you may register at one of our live registrations. For live registration schedules visit www.GPSA-soccer.com.
You can access your member profile 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have any technical problems, please call 1-800-874-0771 for assistance.
General user questions regarding player placement, games, schedules, rainouts, etc should be directed to your club or the gaming league.

Definitions of the Levels of Play

Division I - Competitive
Players age 10-18 |
Highest level of play in the state.
Available for U11 and older teams.
Tryouts are held to identify players on the basis of talent and ability.
Teams qualify for the competition based on performance in the previous season or by their performance in the District Qualification Tournament held during the summer.
Teams play a district-wide schedule which requires extensive travel and commitment.
There is no play time requirement for players on a Division I team.
Limitations are placed on the number of 9-year old or younger players allowed to play up to a higher age / level of play.
Super II - Competitive
Players age 10-18 |
Second highest level of play in the state.
Available for U11 and older teams
Tryouts are held to identify players on the basis of talent and ability.
Teams qualify for the competition based on performance in the previous season or by their performance in the District Qualification Tournament held during the summer.
Teams play in a district-wide schedule which may require extensive travel and commitment.
Coaches must make every effort to play every player on the team at least one-half of the game unless unable to do so due to a player's illness or for disciplinary reasons. In such cases, the coach must inform the referee and opposing coach that a player will not be participating.
Limitations are placed on the number of 9-year old or younger players allowed to play up to a higher age / level of play.
Division II - Competitive
Players age 10-18 |
Introductory level of competitive play.
Available for U11 and older teams.
Tryouts are held to identify players on the basis of talent and ability.
Teams are generally scheduled with other Division II teams within their club or two or three clubs from the area limiting the amount of travel required.
Coaches must make every effort to play every player on the team at least one-half of the game unless unable to do so due to a player's illness or for disciplinary reasons. In such cases, the coach must inform the referee and opposing coach that a player will not be participating.
Limitations are placed on the number of 9-year old or younger players allowed to play up to a higher age / level of play.
Division III - Recreational
Players age 10-18 |
Includes U11 and older teams only
No selection / tryout process is permitted - skill evaluations may be held in order to form teams in a fair and balanced method.
All players who register are assigned to a team as long as space is available on team rosters.
Players benefit from the opportunity for social interaction with other players their own age and the physical fitness aspects of the game while also developing better soccer skills.

Division IV - Recreational
Players age 4-9 |
Includes players age 9 and younger
No selection / tryout process is permitted - skill evalutions may be held in order to form teams in a fair and balanced method.
The goal is to teach young players the basic techniques and skills in an environment that emphasizes fun and builds self-esteem.
Games utilize the "small-sided" format that promotes more player involvement and touches on the ball.
Coaches must make every effort to play every player on the team at least one-half of the game unless unable to do so due to a player's illness or for disciplinary reasons. In such cases, the coach must inform the referee and opposing coach that a player will not be participating.
Limitations are placed on the number of 9-year old or younger players allowed to play up to a higher age / level of play.
Skills training may be made available to Division IV players or teams through a club sponsored Skills Training Program.
U9 and U10 players / teams may participate in club sponsored Recreational Academy programs.
Division IV teams not participating in the Recreational Academy Program are prohibited from receiving team training from a paid professional (with exception of Club sponsored Skills Training).
